Since the question is inevitably going to come up, I'll say right here and now that I don't believe in what Dec is alleging about the incident in this rant - meaning I don't believe Ted Kennedy was a murderer (or a rapist, for that matter). I do believe, however, that Ted Kennedy outright lied to the public about the accident and that he, up until his death in late 2009, never told the complete truth about what happened on that night or what his motivations were for driving away with Mary Jo in his car in the first place. Even from much greater heights, even much smaller cars take minutes to sink below the surface of the water, making it virtually impossible for JO ANN KOPEKNEY to be trapped inside the Oldsmobile automobile.
